LARRY J. KOSMONT, CRE®
Mr. Kosmont is a Principal of the California Golden Fund. He has an extensive track record as a public/private real estate advisor and developer, with expertise in creating and managing real estate transactions, government approvals, negotiations, financing, and project implementation for deals exceeding $10 billion. Mr. Kosmont has managed several projects ranging from large-scale economic development to site-specific real estate strategies. Mr. Kosmont also created the Kosmont-Rose Institute Cost of Doing Business Survey, which is now recognized as the industry standard for comparing city taxes and economic incentives for businesses seeking to relocate or expand. Mr. Kosmont graduated from the University of Southern California (USC) with a Masters in Public Administration and holds a B.A. in Political Science/Economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton, where he graduated with Phi Beta Kappa distinction. Mr. Kosmont is a Licensed Broker, State of California (#01770428). He is also a registered Municipal Advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
JONATHAN CURTIS, ESQ.
Mr. Curtis is a Principal of the California Golden Fund. Mr. Curtis’ professional experience includes 25 years of business and legal experience in the corporate, real estate and land use areas. He has represented owners, managers, investors, pension fund advisors, banks and other lenders, businesses and developers primarily in corporate and transactional and administrative real estate matters, including with respect to the ownership, management, financing and development of hotels, master planned communities, new and existing entertainment venues and commercial and industrial properties. Mr. Curtis was a Partner with Sheppard Mullin Richter and Hampton LLP, where he was the Practice Group Leader for the Real Estate and Land Use Group; and he also served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of a large private real estate holding company. Mr. Curtis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also graduated Cum Laude from Loyola Law School.
